In my 25 years of Christmas Lights displays on my house, I had tried many different ways to hang my Christmas fairy lights. The plastic gutter hooks would always break after 1 summer season in the hot QLD heat. Lifting screws on the corrugated roof and adding wire to hold down the fairy lights was time consuming and was a risk of leaking when the summer storms rolled in. I also tried gaffa tape, but after a hot summer, the tape was difficult to pull off the roof and also left a sticky residue on the roof and looks messy.
